Abstract

|
|
Better classification of headache disorders enables better headache research, understanding of headache, communication, and, ultimately, management of a set of disabling neurological disorders. Based on the first edition of the classification, the ICHD-II (international classification of headache disorder-2nd edition) is intended for not only the researcher and clinician but also the neurologist and general pactitioner. All the headaches are classified into groups and subgroups to provide the level of diagnosis necessary for each user.
